We agree which users, devices, entry points and tasks matter most before reviewing the interface. Existing analytics, session recordings, support questions, search behaviour, research, product constraints and stakeholder knowledge can be included when available. This keeps the audit focused on meaningful journeys rather than producing an equal list of every possible observation. The evidence also reveals where the team already knows enough to act and where a usability test, interview or technical investigation is needed before a confident recommendation can be made.
